We started Hwy 7 Events Co. because we realized buying wedding and event items was actually cheaper than renting — if you had the storage space. Not everyone does.
So instead of letting perfectly usable pieces sit in a shed, we’re making them available for others to borrow instead of buy.
About Us
Located right on Hwy 7 in Lester Prairie, Minnesota, Hwy 7 Events Co. was built from a simple realization: event rentals have gotten expensive — and not everyone has the space, budget, or desire to buy and store everything themselves.
After planning our own wedding and purchasing much of the inventory ourselves, we realized there was a gap between “luxury event rentals” and practical, affordable options for real-life gatherings. So instead of letting perfectly good event pieces sit in storage, we decided to make them available for others to use too.
Our inventory may not be flawless or high-end showroom perfect — but it’s functional, well-loved, event-ready, and thoughtfully priced for weddings, graduation parties, showers, backyard celebrations, community events, and everything in between.
As an event producer by trade -- organization, logistics, and attention to detail are at the core of what we do. We pride ourselves on being easy to work with, accommodating, and solution-oriented.
